The Trade and Industry Department of Douglas Consulting implements investment projects in the trade and industry field. The Department controls a number of companies whose annual turnover was over 150 million USD in 2005. The Department specialists handle the following investment projects.

• trading companies selling carrying and lifting equipment, greyfers /grapples, digging machinery, component parts for railways, metallurgy industry products, bearing industry products and component parts for bearing assemblage, electrical insulators, tires for any types of vehicles etc
• quarrying and processing trim stone (travertine) and selling finished products in Russia and western markets
• passenger and freight carriages: - complete assemblage, modernization, repair and maintenance
• various production-lines on the site of ‘Industrialnyi park’ in the town of Kolomna
• the ‘Eco Food’ roadside retail chain. The chain includes different types of stores ranging from vending-machines to modern supermarkets and cafés operating under the same trade mark
